Support the GCTA

Tennis in Cincinnati is perhaps best known around the world for the men’s and women’s professional tournaments held in Mason, or the players - such as Tony Trabert, Bill Talbert and Barry MacKay – who’ve come out of Cincinnati to make a name for themselves on the international tennis stage.

But it ends there.

Where it begins is on public courts. It begins with a young player picking up a racquet for the first time, and then playing in a tournament against an equally matched peer… or an elite junior working his or her way up the district, sectional and national rankings or vying for a college tennis scholarship… or an adult playing tennis well into his or her golden years.

And the Greater Cincinnati Tennis Association is striving to encourage and support it all.

Financial support from caring individuals make it possible for the Greater Cincinnati Tennis Association to distribute funds to support local adult and junior tennis programs and college scholarships.

The GCTA makes a real difference in the tennis lives of both adults and juniors in this region through the Junior Novice series, the Adult Competition series, college scholarships, roving referees, and so many other programs.

But the GCTA needs support to keep Cincinnati a place where the sport thrives.

In these challenging economic times, please take a moment to consider supporting junior players, adult players, officials, tennis enthusiasts and tennis parents in our community by making a thoughtful financial contribution during our annual fund raising period.

Your support is valuable.

The GCTA is a volunteer organization which operates on the generous volunteer help and financial donations from our supporters. To become a GCTA volunteer or to make a donation, call (513) 470-3969 or send an email to pkeelergcta@cinci.rr.com.
